A Call for Reviews

Thanks again for all the support on The Wonderful Wizard of Oz Hardcover. It's really been moving off the shelves and I have another favor to ask of you all.

If you have purchased the book I'd really appreciate you all stopping by Amazon.com and leaving a review. You can leave a review no matter if you bought it at a book store, comic book shop, or Amazon. We're very proud that we've taken a graphic novel aimed at kids and put in it the New York Times Best Seller List and your reviews can help us stay there for longer.

So, stop by and give your opinions on the book. Thank you!

Land of Oz 2 comes to life

I recorded the digital drawing process of my Oz cover. I then print this out and ink it traditionally with brush and ink.

this is the new cover to Marvel Adventures Spider-Man #58. The rain was a bit of challenge on this one and I used a little traditional, a little digital to pull off the effect. This was a challenge, but a fun image to work on.

Essex County

I've been insanely busy with work, a few personal projects, and of most of all...getting ready for little baby Baxter. I haven't been sketching as much as I'd like but I need to update with a new post anyway.

I thought I would throw a little love towards Jeff Lemire. I've started to read his ESSEX COUNTY graphic novel and so far it's great. I also can't say enough about the beautiful production quality of the book. It's amazing! The prettiest book I've ever purchased.

I can't wait to get deeper into the story and maybe a few of you would like to read along, or comment if you have already read it.

Berona's Hundred Year War

I talked about a book that was given to me by Jesse Labbe and Anthony Coffey at Chicago Comicon. I didn't have a link at the time but Jesse hooked me up with one. This book is just great fun and I'm honored that these guys introduced me to their work. Go check it out and order one for yourself!
