Evil Cabbie Drawing Video

looks amazing but when you went from sketchbook to illustrator, how did you get rid of the background so you color it? I've tried everything and can't figure it out. Thanks again, great stuff..

I've found that when working in Painter 11 or in sketchbook, work in a layer above your "solid paper" layer, copy your final "inks" into a new window with a transparent background and save it as a photoshop or a png doc. That will preserve the transparency of the image thus you can create layer under your inks in Photoshop for rendering your colors. At least that is what I do. -Matt

Amazing work on that one. I was wondering what was the first step when you turn the piece to PS. With all that color selection on highlights and making white transparent. Can you shed some light on that subject please? :)

Love drawing videos, thanks for this. Please post more of these in the new year. My nieces loved the wizard of oz trades I got them for christmas by the way.
