Winter out the Window

Illinois has been getting hammered with snow this year. We to over a foot on our first snow of the year and every few days it falls a bit more. So I got inspired to sketch what I see outside my studio window.

This piece is just done in photoshop with straight color. No underdrawing or sketch. I just felt like layering things like you would with paint and just use value to create depth. It's  a challenge but also fun when you can pull off and a decent composition.  A very fun little exercise.

She's a beautiful sketch. I would love to see some more sketches done in this style.
